the last 2 League episodes were pretty weak. Ruxin suddenly becoming an imbecile, and kevin becoming a gorilla both seemed like really lazy laughs

it's impossible for a chicken dance to be terrible. the more terrible it is, the better it is.

They're filming more episodes right now, actually. They'll air exclusively on Netflix.

Crap I wonder if it will have any kind of closure or will it end like "V" did when ABC brought it back.

That and 666 Park Avenue. I watch both. I am really considering not getting into any new ABC shows. I've considered it in the past. Allowed myself to get hooked again. But this may be the point I actually go through with it. They just keep doing it. More than any other network. Maybe these two weren't as highly regarded, but I found both very interesting. But just off the top of my head. I'm typing it as I'm trying to remember. Shows they cancelled after either providing them little support, as in advertising and a long enough run to find its groove, or a bad time slot, or because shows were too popular, featured too many star actors, and ended up too costly to produce: Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone, Dirty Sexy Money, GCB, V, Ugly Betty, Jane By Design, and now Last Resort and 666. I am sure there are several more I watched in that time. Some of those were absolutely brilliant, but they have such a quick trigger to cancel shows if they aren't an immediate hit, that I really just may give up on ABC altogether. They instead keep trash like Revolution. Because they happen to advertise it all over the place, so people think it's quality television.

I'll watch Once Upon a Time because I really like that, but I'm not sure I'll give a new show a chance on that network.

The New York Times tv blog said that Last Resort was one of the best reviewed new shows this season, but it was airing on a tough night and time - Thursdays at 8. I was surprised it was on that early, as I watch it streaming the next day.

The post also mentioned that Last Resort was the only male orientated show on ABC so it couldn't be cross promoted with a similar show.

Finally, shooting on location in Hawaii is pretty expensive.

Maybe another network will pick it up.

Big spoiler.
Spoiler:
In the middle of this episode. Since I can remember, I have not cried because of a tv show. But my goodness I am basically balling right now. She and Branson are my favorite characters and her death scene is terrible. :(

I had heard about this, and I'm not even upset, because I heard simply knowing what happens does no justice to seeing it play out. Would you agree with that, obhave?

Any new word on whether it's 100% certain that Maggie Smith is leaving after S3? Saying she's brilliant in this show is an understatement.

Person of Interest continues to be solid.

Spoiler:
I really like the idea of the MI6 guy floating around, ready to strike at any moment. Perfect timing with Skyfall in theaters, too.
I found it interesting how the married lesbian couple was treated in this episode - like a normal married couple. That they were married wasn't a plot point or angle that the MI6 dude was going to use. I know it isn't new, but it's nice to see how far we've come culturally from Ellen DeGeneres' kiss in 1997.

I totally changed my TV shows. Once I found CableTV actually made great shows, not just ones not good enough to be on networks, I really can't go back to cookie-cutter network shows.

Last year was Law and Order SVU, Criminal Minds, Intervention, Office, Simpsons, Family Guy, Dexter

This year Homeland, SOA, Dexter, Walking Dead, Law and Order SVU, and Restaurant Impossible. Family Guy I ondemand when I feel like it.

I watched the first 3 episodes of Arrested Development. Very good. They watch like that show that ran for a while. It was good, too, but they canned it. Also had my lesbian-crush Portia DeRossi in it. Umm. Oh, Better Off Ted. Anyway, AD has an all-star cast. Wow. Even that funny guy from Three's Company. 22 episodes in season 1 will take a while.

Oh, yeah. Proves my point further. NBC seems to advertise that all over the place. And people watch it. ABC had better shows and they went nowhere. Seems like a problem with management.

I'm down to Once Upon a Time, Castle, and Don't Trust the B, on ABC after they can the other two shows.
