So they managed to outscore Uconn 17-0 in the second half. Good thing they gave up before the half instead of trying a hail mary or something. (Of course, not getting down 24-0 would have been nice...)

What was Uconn's record against us in Big East play anyway? I feel like they beat us almost every time we've played.

The no hail mary thing is probably what I am most disappointed about tonight.

Looked it up, Somehow the series was 4-4 going into this game... I guess it just always seemed like Pitt lost to them. The page where I found that said "Uconn will win if... Pitt fails to show up. That might seem harsh, but Uconn can't really expect to win another game this season".

Didnt know where to put this, but figured this is the best place. Unfortunately it's all over the news over here in the Youngstown Area. Darius Patton, a former Pitt wideout (was a freshman last year), was found dead this morning from an apparent suicide. Just awful news. I had the pleasure of seeing him play as he went to my Alma Mater's rival HS. The young man was extremely talented. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

i was thinking about it the other day, and it's unreal how he's actually started (correct me if i'm wrong) every single game the past 3 years. It was the perfect storm. No capable backups, different coaches, expectations he'd improve. I mean he's gonna end up 3rd or 4th ALL TIME in passing at Pitt and he's horrible. Any other school, or normal situation and he would have started about 15 games tops. Ugh.

So I'm punishing myself and taking myself and my fiance to the Pitt vs Rutgers game tomorrow. Already got tickets, but not having been to a Pitt game for a while. .what is parking like down there? Is it already assigned for STH? Should I plan on parking far away?

Smartest thing to do is park over by the panther hollow bridge, cross in front of the Cathedral of learning and walk up the hill to the stadium...
