Target has a 4.5qt KitchenAid for $199

Sears has a 6qt KitchenAid for $320.

macy's has the same 199

Yeah, Kitchen-Aid has a lower end stand mixer available during November and December for about this price. It doesn't have many attachments (bowl, paddle), so if you knead a dough hook (get it?), wire whip, be ready to pay for those separately. At the sub-$200 price point.

I just unloaded an old sunbeam 4.5qt for $30 on craigslist.

I got one request for a TV from someone close, and I'm leaning toward the LG 50 Plasma for $549. Good reviews on Amazon.

There is a 70 inch from Sharp for $1798. Hmm... But it's in-store only. Nevermind.

I got the model mixed up. I was thinking the LG PA6500. Don't know what the difference is from LG 50PA5500 on sale.

edit:
http://www.avsforum.com/t/1390332/lg-50pa6500-and-lg-60pa6500-plasmas/30

edit 2:
"The PA6500 series are the top tier of non-3D plasmas from LG for 2012. It has a 1080p plasma panel and a new black filter but custs cost by eliminating features such as 3D and online connectivity.
The 50PA6500 has a new black filter that increases both black levels and contrast for a greatly improved picture over previous models. Along with the improved black levels and contrast comes improved color and improved detail in dark scenes and shadows. LG has stepped it up with their 2012 plasmas showing a marked improvement over previous models."

For the record, you can't really judge BF TV deals on model numbers - often stores have "black friday only" models, which are stripped down to bare bones, sometimes not even having sleep timers.

with tvs keep in mind: the nicer the box the worse the picture. they put crappy tvs in colorful boxes to help sell them when theyre bulk stacked. samsung always releases special editions at christmas that end in 01 or 03

hard drive prices are still way out of whack from the thailand monsoon flooding that happened over a year ago. 2tb drives used to be around $70.

its a good tv. very basic and has no extra features. that isnt a tremendous price on it though. i mean, its a nice price but something like that would normally sell in the $600-$700 range

And I am looking for a good basic TV. No 3D needed. No internet. Just a good picture and sound that doesn't suck too badly.
