Reading impressions on the WiiU around the net make me glad I didn't bother with a pre-order. Lots of launch issues apparently with the console locking up, not sure if that was patched yet or not.

Having a blast collecting stuff in Lego LOTR. I'm probably biased given the source material, but this is definitely my favorite Lego game. The production quality is just ridiculous for a Lego game. There are some occasional bugs (as there seem to be in all the Lego games), but nothing as devastating as the Blackbeard fight bug I encountered in POTC.

I've replayed 5 of the stages in Free Play... only have 100% on one so far. I think I have about 142 of the 250 mithril bricks at this point, so still quite a bit to go there. Lots of side quests still open as well... and pretty sure I haven't come close to finding all of them.

It sounds like Lego Harry Potter in the scope of the game expanding far beyond just the story missions and free play.

I'm still working on Lego Star Wars III. I'm still around 75%. The reason for the slow down is I'm trying to complete all of the Seperatist/Republic assult missions. To me, it is a waste of time. They are just giant battles on each planet with a timed mission, and it is very redundant, and some are very difficult. And there is 16 for both, so a total of 32 missions. I've spent about 3 hrs, and only completed 6 of them so far. But I have OCD and want to complete 100%. Just haven't had time to play.

Lego Harry Potter had a ton of side missions, but they weren't redundant and boring.

I'm holding off on the WiiU until like a year or so. I usually do with new systems.

Do you have to download all of the games, or are they still sold on hard disc?

downloading the game is just an option, not the requirement.

Cool. I still like having a physical/tangible game. I dont' know why. Maybe old school. I dont' want to worry if I have enough space to download games and upgrades and crap. I just want to buy a damn game and play it.

Its mostly flying. You can walk around at the beginning of each level, but the point of the game is flying around and keeping a combo going.

What did you think of the demo? I had my doubts about this DMC, but I enjoyed it.

Still going to wait until the reviews come out. I want to preorder though because you get new weapons and Vergil missions, have a feeling Capcom will charge for them later.

Did anyone play The Amazing Spiderman? Looks pretty fun and promises a long campaign, like 15-20 hours. Only problem I have is that I can't get over how when he flies around, the web he shoots out seems to become attached to the clouds because there are no buildings around. I would have to make up some story in my head that the ends of the web links contain some air bubbles or something to keep him up.

It got my interest. I think I'd play it. Hope it won't be too short because it seems like the type of game that'd end too quickly. I should have kept the demo installed, and I think I'll re-download it because I was having a problem getting used to the controls. That entire first part of the demo where you do a city mission, all the way to the end, I didn't know when to use the angel or the devil mode other than for pulling things out of walls. I found them confusing overall for some reason. I want to mess with the set up a bit. Maybe assign the machine gun to the R1 button. Are the default "roll" keys R1 and L1 identical? I don't think you can run and shoot at the same time, which bites. Oh, can you lock onto a single enemy or point when shooting? I have no freaking idea. I want to like the game, but need to figure out some things before I buy it.

During that boss fight, I had trouble with the angel and devil mode. Took me like 5 tries to remember which one was the devil version to break the harness things.

I've only used R1 to roll, so I don't know about L1. In past DMCs you could slowly move forward and back while shooting. The pistols are meant to juggle the enemies, so I don't move around too much with them.

Bought Uncharted 3 the other day for $20 at Best Buy. Was waiting for a sizable price drop to buy it since it's been at full price for awhile. Forgot I had a $5 rewards certificate, and didn't use it. Didn't matter though because I used it to order Skyrim online, bringing the price down to $20.

I have low expectations on Bethesda fixing the DLC for PS3, so forget about waiting for the goty edition. I couldn't pass up a $20 deal on a game that's been $60 since launch.
