Im in the same boat. Dropped him earlier in the season and saw your post so picked him up. Due to injuries im riding with Jennings from JAC and flip flopped Dwyer/Redman in the weeks they started. So my RB situation is a complete mess even tho I'm pretty strong at WR. I should have traded one earlier in the year.

I am thankful for many things today, but I am not thankful for having to choose one WR, one TE, on flex (WR,RB,TE) out of:

Michael Crabtree @ NO
Denarius Moore @ cin
Vernon Davis @ NO
Owen Daniels @ Det
Steven Jackson @ ari

Thoughts?

Kraftster, are you picking two out of those? Davis is a must start if Kaepernick is playing.

I have a few tough ones.

Assuming McCoy is out, Parmele or Bryce Brown? I'm already starting Cecil Shorts so very wary of having two Jaguars on my starting roster.

I am probably going RGIII...but do I consider starting Andy Dalton this week? RGIII on the road against a tough Dallas defense, and Dalton is home against the horrific Raiders secondary. I'm genuinely torn here

Those are really tough, shaf. I just have a hunch RGIII is going to have an awesome day but I would guess that the numbers support a Dalton start. Brown vs. Parmele is tough too. I think Parmele since Shady was only having a half decent season because he's Shady. Jax seems to have a gameplan that includes more carries.

I have to start one WR of Crabtree/Moore.
I have to start one TE of Davis/Daniels.
Then I have the leftover WR, the leftover TE, and Sjax as my possible flexes.

I am playing Kaepernick this week, so I like starting at least one of the 9ers to cancel out Kaep, and I'm tempted to start both just to make sure Kaepernick doesn't have a really big day against me since I likely have the edge at the other positions. I guess I'm leaning Crabtree/Davis/Moore as my starters. Moore vs. Daniels vs. Jax is very close, though.

SJax is going against a pretty weak Arizona run D, but Daryl Richardson vultures all of his TDsً. I like your strategy against Kaepernick...you DEFINITELY have to start Davis then. I'm facing Aaron Rodgers, and I sorely wish Jordy was still out so I could play James Jones with more confidence.

My WR are:

Amendola
Green
Fitz
Megatron
Hartline

I need to start 4 of 5, who you got?

Also, Bush, Ballard, or Pamele for 2 RB slots. I am leaning Pamele and Ballard on a gamble.

Its definitely Hartline vs. Fitz. Rams have good pash rush and pass D and Lindley is playing his first NFL game. I might go Hartline.

I'm probably not starting Hartline, and I have Seattle's D so that means he will have a big day.

We have a 14 teen league with six making the playoffs. we have 2 divisions. would the top 6 records make the playoffs or the top 3 in each division make the playoffs

That would prob depend on your league rules. We did the top 3 in each division last year, then changed it because it left 2 really good teams out of the playoffs. So we did division winners get the bye then best records.

I'm checking the settings to see how playoff match-ups work. Again, we have 2 divisions. I'm fourth in my division but 6th overall. I'm wondering if I'll make it despite not being in the top 3 in my division. Here's what the settings state...any thoughts?

The number of teams in the Winner's Bracket corresponds to the "Playoff Teams" setting. In most leagues the Division Winners will gain automatic entry into the Winner's Bracket. Any remaining Winner's Bracket slots are filled by Wild Card teams based on their seed (see below). Teams in the Winner's Bracket play head-to-head for either one or two weeks, with each matchup's winner advancing to the next round until a League Champion is determined. The losers of games in the Winner's Bracket play other losers of games in the Winner's Bracket until the end of the season.

The Winner's Bracket first-round matchups are based on the following pairing of seeds:

Two (2) team bracket: 1v2
Four (4) team bracket: 1v4, 2v3
Eight (8) team bracket: 1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5
Sixteen (16) team bracket: 1v16, 2v15, 3v14, 4v13, 5v12, 6v11, 7v10, 8v9
NOTE: Any BYEs replace the seed starting with the highest number and work in ascending order. Example: Your league has 6 teams in an 8 team bracket. The two BYEs are assigned to seeds #7 and #8, thus the #1 and #2 seeds have first-round BYEs.

That looks like it says the 2 division winners get in automatically and the rest are filled out by best record, not division play.
