I rode to walmart since its like 2 minutes from my grandparents house that we had dinner at. Went in and there were lines everywhere. I later found out there was a map and you had to wait in whatever line you wanted the stuff for. We were after the $148 32" TV but the line was about 15 aisles long soo yeah. My fiancee said they ran out of the TVs plus the slips they were giving people to buy it site-to-store. Insanity

I wonder how many slips they actually gave out?

They were still selling them just not giving out slips anymore. I bet they sell like 10 million of those TVs today amongst all stores.

Which Wally World was this? That's bonkers.
I went to the belle vernon one at 7:00 and they were just unshrinkwrapping the pallets of special items (outside of the lines for the high want electronics that I didn't even bother with). Me and the wife did one round of checking the items that were going on special for 8:00pm and got mostly the discounted tupperware, 1.96 DVDs, and a couple of games. We got in line at about 7:35 and when they opened the registers at 5 til 8, we were 4th in one of the lines. Back in our car at 8:06...pretty decent

Best of the night: I saw two grown men fighting over pink wiimotes. A pre-teen girl laughed at them and told them they weren't even on sale and were 40$/ea. lulz

I got eastbound and down(DVD) seasons 1 & 2 online at bestbuy.com for 7.99. Never saw the show before but was told it was good. Needed something to help me get through the days of not going to the bar during my diet.

eastbound season 1 was one of the funniest things i've ever seen. 2 was okay, it had it's moments. season 3 sucked.

Twas the Connellsville walmart and she's at Latrobe. I wanted the Simmons pillows for $4.98 but they were gone. Came home and ordered two 2 packs of Calvin Klein pillows for $15 each shipped free from bonton

We're the tupperware sales good? They had some and I was tempted. The one that came in the big plastic bin was almost gone but the one in the box was still in ample supply.

Stopped at dicks on the way home. BOGO Taylor made golf balls, got six dozen and a hoodie and sweatpants that were 60% off. Done and done

I just did some shopping in my pajamas on Amazon. No lines, no hassle... works for me. Saved a ton of money as well.

I saw that. I was tempted to buy it just out of principle that it was only $7. I did a lap around the store and they were at the door, saw like 20 of them, came back to leave like 5 minutes later and there was 1 lone soldier.

god bless america!

Spoiler:
My fiancee had to wear one of those yellow vests, guess it symbolized management since it had a star on it. She also was tasked with carrying a first aid kit. :face:

got to Walmart about 2:30 this morning looking for a spot in line for the 50 inch LCD. talked to the guy who was handing out tickets for it and he said they only 17 to sell at that store and the tickets were gone at about 11:30. drove down the highway to another Walmart and that one had been out of them since about 10PM. there were people in sleeping bags at that one waiting for the sale to start.

Geez. That's the issue I have with Black Friday and why I wont take part. To say you have a deal like that and then only offer (4) is ridiculous.

It's funny, all the bix box store parkign lots were essentially empty or normal for w weekday when I went to work at 8:00. I guess all the deals were gone either last night or before 5:00.

I had essentially all my shopping done except for some gift cards and some baby toys for my niece weeks ago so I had no need to go out anyways. That and not having money will do that :)
