Just saw the Lincoln movie tonight and boy was it moving. I felt like I got to meet the real A. Lincoln. I highly recommend it.

ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz

Saw it tonight as well. Good... but so boring at times considering I had a pretty good idea as to how it would end. Glad I saw it but I could never sit through it again.

I thought it was hard to follow at times but the best part was getting to meet Lincoln.

This movie would be better with captioning cause they talked like they were in the 1800s. But other than that, id Daniel Day Lewis does not win the Best Actor Oscar, its a travesty.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but no one alive today knows what the real Lincoln was like. So, this was pretty much made up. :)

Give "Lincoln Unmasked" a read. http://www.amazon.com/Lincoln-Unmasked-Youre-Supposed-Dishonest/dp/0307338428

Shows another side of Lincoln, contrary to the fairy tale side we all learned about in school.

Ok, so can this thread die like Lincoln and Jesus?

Too soon?

Don't worry, it can rise again in the Movie thread.
