Semi-related but he did the same thing to me when I questioned why he thinks Mario can almost single-handedly end the lockout just by talking. Told me to "read the article" then ignored me when I said I did and it still didn't make sense.

I laughed at that article. Yeah sure DK, because one owner out of 30 can really make a difference in swaying opinions. If the owners are hellbent on doing something, there going to do it regardless of what the opinions of one owner thinks. If I remember correctly, during the 2004-05 lockout, Larry Tenenbaum of the Leafs was begging the NHL to accept a deal so they can resume playing and all the other owners shot him down and this is the guy who owns one of the richest and more influenive clubs in the league and he's getting shot down because the owners were hellbent of getting a deal that had a salary cap and they waited out until they got one.

its a platform to see trending social media broken down into categories. its not terrible in theory, but the way the people promote it is absolutely obnoxious.

I'm just happy they've stopped promoting SportsYapper on Twitter. I got into a tussle with Dejean about it a few weeks ago because I made fun of him for promoting a Twitter clone on Twitter.

He argued with me that he actually liked it, and that he wasn't paid to promote it. Funny thing, everyone at the Trip just suspiciously stopped promoting it hardcore.

From Tomlin's presser today:

Ben will practice, but Batch is starter.

Antonio Brown will return.

Woodley is doubtful.

I have never heard someone use more words and talk longer to say something that could be summed up in about a 5 word sentence than Mike Tomlin.

Why is Batch still on the roster let alone starting again? If you play like Batch did against Cleveland then you have no business starting for the Steelers.

We should just sign Ronnie Brown and run the Wildcat all game.

They don't really have a choice if Ben isn't ready. Their only other option is a guy who has been on the team for a week, and most likely it won't be a whole lot better if you throw someone unfamiliar with the offense in there.

Not a fan of the team's schedule this year. 3 of their last 4 are at home, and they're basically going to have to win out those games to get the last playoff spot (assuming they lose this week). I guess it's all even in the end, but it seems like a crappy balance, why would you not play 6 road and 6 home in your first 12.

I guess the bigger issue is why a guy like Hoyer wasn't the 3rd QB for the last 2-3 years instead of a guy who shouldn't even be in the NFL any more.

But would a guy not knowing this stupid offense be worse? Hand it to Dywer or throw a screen to Miller seem like easy and simple things to do and would have won the game.
