You'd be very rich on Wall Street, if you could crank out an additional 2% return over the competition.

I took total posts on this board, divided by number of users, added 2013 calendar days up to today and now have the numbers that I am using for the draw.

WINNER!

If I'm getting compensated by how much I can out perform my 'peer group', then I'm using the higher number! (That's what you're calling the 'relative' number, right?)

The last time my wife and I played the Powerball, we matched three numbers and the powerball. I should note that this is the last time the Jackpot was remotely this big. The odds of even getting what we got was 1 in 12,500 or so. While I know that to match one or two more numbers would have required vastly greater odds, I sometimes think about how I was two numbers away from being set for life.

Do bummed that I got suckered in to buying a ticket. I just didn't want everyone that works for me to win then quit so I needed to hedge my bet a little

Years ago, back when I was the CIO for Lenders Service (up in RIDC West), I had a rule for the programmers and operations people that worked for me, if they pooled their money and played as a group, they had to include me. No way was I going to be the only one left behind when there was a mass resignation. :)
