BTW, what happens when Tulane finds out that they are actually going to the Big East, instead of the Big Easy?

This is what I was looking for.

Funny that this year the Big 10 had twelve teams and the Big 12 had ten.

What's the over/under on the number of months before the SEC starts to poach the ACC?

FSU and Clemson should move to the SEC.

Too bad the SEC doesn't want them.

UGA and UK are with them on principle. Bama, Auburn and LSU are opposed because they recruit against FSU and Clemson for a lot of the same players. There's a gentlemen's agreement to not take schools from the same state as existing members. Otherwise, I'm sure they would have taken FSU or Clemson instead of Missouri.

http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootbal ... ealignment

A conference championship game doesn't make much financial sense. One media consultant says such a game would be worth only $700,000-$1 million a year per school. Not an insignificant amount but worth having to split with two more mouths to feed?

A far cry from the billions the WVU insiders claim a conference title game would bring.
