I can't find video of this goal on the internet. Straka stole the puck off of Gonchar, walked in all alone on Kolzig and ripped it top shelf. Awesome play by one of my favorite players at the time.

2006, december. day jimbo basille decided not to buy the penguins. great game.
This goal with Sid and ryan malone; i think I miss the action as much as Bob Errey describing hockey!
Sid's play just head shaking moves.

I remember the exact move Gonchar made, I remember Straka kind of flipped his stick over other the breakaway, remember the celebration, Lange's goal call, and the goal song played. Just one of those moments that stayed with me. One of my favorite as well. The was the year straka also had the game 6 goal vs. Buffalo to tie the series.

that little pass from dupuis on the boards to sid to start that play is pretty much why i love hockey. so good.
