If by some miracle I'd win the 500mil, I'd hope other folks would have winning tickets as well.

As long as I would never have to work again, I'd be happy with that. I don't want houses and cars and things, I just want to be a lazy bum and never have to work for a living.

I would do volunteer work, but I wouldn't consider that mind numbing, yoke of oppression work.

Depending on your answer

The thing that I would really do is start a company called Launchpad Records, or something like that. I'd find unsigned bands and handle the production, marketing, and distribution of their first record, and then help them find a deal with a real label. I think that's something I could be happy doing.

I'd spend some, save the rest, and coast through school. Get my degree and such, perhaps go to grad school just in case, and try to get a volunteer job. No pressure to earn money. Just something I'd enjoy and wouldn't have to worry about making money.

That much cash would make me worry about my family. I'd need security staff for the wife and kids. I'll settle for 5% of that jackpot.

Hell with just 5% you could build a bigger house right across from Marios in Montreal, still have another mil+ to live on and give him DX crotch chops from across the street because you're house is better.

If I won the powerball... The level of paranoia I'd have in the process of claiming my ticket... knowing I hold 500 million dollars in my hand... I probably have a panic attack and I don't even get those

I would immediately buy a very large piece of property in New Zealand. I would buy a F-14 (Yes, you can buy those) and I would fix it up.

Obviously I'd become a philanthropist...

I don't know what else... its so much money

Boom, I just hit my second $1M on the powerball simulator. I'm at 3,850,000 plays. The odds of the $1M win are 1:5M+ so I think I should play tonight.

Fyi,

lump sum payment is $389M, Fed takes 25%, then states take some out. So no one is getting near $500M.

Hell, for that much money you could offer a pretty hefty bounty to a hitman... and then no one would ever have worry about that silly ban ever again. :)

Bought a Powerball ticket right before 10PM. I picked my own numbers and had the number "34" as many times on the ticket as Mendenhall fumbled this past week. Also had Rainey's number on there for "comfort".

Got a good feeling about this.
