Those were some pretty good SOA clips in that 90 minutes of commercials that FX ran last night.

Otto is one crazy SOB.

Another extended episode tonight.

Seems like it's crumbling quickly for Jax.

Do they have two more seasons of material?

Much better episode this week...

Though I've been somewhat critical of the numerous chase scenes this season, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

I'm guessing that the guy who beat Otto and was watching Tara is the husband of the nurse Otto shanked.

Just got done watching all of the seasons over the past couple of weeks. Great show.
Can't help thinking Jax is going to end up as a Michael Corleone figure, where as much as he tries to get out; he only gets deeper into criminality.

I'm really looking forward to the finale, and here are my predictions:

•Jax brought Hale (who was responsible for kidnapping and almost killing Tara earlier) and Pope (who killed his best friend) together on theCharming Heights deal for a reason. They're both going to get hurt/killed.

•ªJax is going to be forced to make a power grab due to pressure from the IRA/Clay, Tara's legal issue, and the ex Marshall guy. One thought is that he's going to kill Pope as above and use Nero to take over Pope's turf and keeps sons out of drugs.

•I'm thinking it might set-up to be niners/IRA/Clay/Grim Bastards vs Sons/Mayans/Cartel/Lin/Nero for season 6.

•I'm sure i'll be wildly off base.

I'm thinking season 6 is going to be war.

I read an interesting theory online about the finale re: Jax / Tig / Pope

Jax is going to side with August (Billy Brown's character and Popes right hand) to help save Tig / take out Pope. Obviously, he and Jax made a connection last night, especially with Jax questioning why he is so loyal to Pope.

I really like Pope's character and how he interacts with Jax. The scenes between the 2 are so deep and intense. I dont see the show killing off another main character right now, so I bet Pope gets the short end of the stick in this storyline. Also, by offing Pope, it really portrays Jax as a ruthless man (even more so than he already is) by taking out such a powerful player like Pope, which is obviously where this show is heading (i.e. making Jax a total BA). Also, remember Pope gave Jax the advice last night on how to deal with Clay - i.e. take him out, but don't make it look like you weren't involved so that you dont upset people. Id be willing to bet that if this all plays out like I have listed, Pope is gonna regret giving out that advice.

I was thinking about the possibility of Jax teaming up w/ Pope's man as well... That entire exchange would have been fairly pointless otherwise.

Should be a great finale.

Agreed. Preview seemed to show Tig and Jax in the middle of nowhere together, implying that Jax would kill Tig. That doesn't seem to fit, as I'm pretty sure Pope said he wanted Tig. I think Tig lives and agree that Pope ends up going down. I wonder if Jimy Smits is signed up for another year or if this is a one season thing for him. If it is past this season I can definitely see the scenario someone else laid out of Nero and Jax teaming up to take over Pope. Hale has to come into play somehow as well.
