This is usually what I do. Clicking the mouse wheel has always felt awkward to me.

Yoju know how sometimes you click on a link and it takes you to another page. Then you want to back to the original site but when you hit the back button all it does is reload the page you're on. So you then have to go into the history to get back. I really hate that.

Or click the scroll wheel/middle key (on laptops)

Either way takes more work than it should

I have ex-coworkers in their late 40s or possibly even in their early 50s falling for that crap.

Speaking of Facebook, I hate when people interrupt a status message to randomly say hello.

Person 1 (aka original status message): Steelers looked bad last week. If they can't beat the Browns with Batch, then I don't like their chances this week.
Person 2: Yeah, Batch looked terrible. Still my team though.
Person 1: If we're lucky, Ben comes back and plays. Ben at 50% is better than Batch at 400%

Why are you crashing the discussion? Make your own status for that ish. I'm gonna guess person 2 and 3 really don't care about personal life when there's a separate discussion going on. Even if nobody else joined the discussion yet, it's the equivalent of "Yeah, I don't give a crap about anything you wrote. I just thought I'd random drop my thoughts on your page."

I don't even like it on the stationary bike. The way I look at it is if you're able to read and turn pages you aren't working out very hard.

The biggest gym faux pas IMO are the people who do their dumbell sets right at the rack. Really? GTFO of the way. I really have to wait for you so that I can either put my weights away or get the ones your blocking.
