At least the headline was accurate, though grammatically incorrect "Jacksonville Jaguars fan are...."

Yes, Philadelphia's a disaster-bockle...and a lot of it is systemic, you're very right. They have enough talent to...well...let's put it this way, the Phillies have won more games since October 1st than the Eagles...they shouldn't be that bad...

Drew Brees might be the worst "elite" QB in the NFL.

Most people don't list them as being elite. I'm talking Top 5.

Wow, and Brees just exhibits horrible clock management there. 1st and goal with about 13 seconds left on the 7 yard line, he throws to Sproles in heavy coverage, half over.

With that, Brees' long TD streak since 2009 is officially over.

Yet everyone in the media (most importantly the NFL Network) will keep saying that he's one of the top 5 QB's in the NFL and the best out there.

I like Brees but I think he's slightly overrated. He's had a couple unbelievable years but he also has 4 of the top 10 most pass attempts in a season of all time.

Yeah like last year, his numbers in a vacuum look good, but if Aaron Rodgers had the same number of attempts, he would have ended up with like 6200 yards and like 60 tds

Mark Sanchez has just thrown his third interception. For a reminder (and amusement):

The New York Jets ended months of Peyton Manning speculation Friday night with an emphatic statement, announcing a three-year contract extension for incumbent Mark Sanchez.

The Jets extended Sanchez after a season in which they openly admitted they weren't pleased with his rate of development. The announcement came only hours after they were eliminated from the Manning sweepstakes.

The deal includes $20.5 million in guarantees for 2012 and 2013 and $40.5 million in "new" money, bringing his total over five years to $58.25 million, according to sources. He can make an additional $10 million in escalators.

The $58.25 million gives Sanchez the seventh-highest financial package among NFL quarterbacks, sources told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.

Wow....discount double ***** Rodgers just threw a pick, but had it called back because they called roughing the passer on the Vikings. It was a garden variety shoulder hit aproximately one half second after he threw the ball. No head to head, no nothing. Ed Hochuli called it, and Troy Aikman has been going on and on about how utterly horrible the call was.

The DAL-PHI matchup at Lincoln Financial Field next year would be 8 hours long to deal the litter on the field. Both teams would have to use the silent count because of the incessant booing.

Not sure why they wouldn't just promote Ryan. You'd think he was already the HC for how many times they show him on TV.

The ever-effusive Jim Nantz gets misty as Tom Brady puts the red pinnie blazer around Aaron Rodgers' shoulders. "Welcome to the elite club, Aaron."

Seriously, screw Packers fans. They get an effing gift with that BS roughing the passer call on Rodgers' interception. There is legitimate head-to-head contact on a pass downfield called on the Packers, and Mike McCarthy is going ballistic and the fans are booing relentlessly. What an easy team to root against.

Aaaand Ponder throws another limp-wristed interception.
