Custom animation - Where to search

Postby Hockeynut! on Sat Dec 01, 2012 9:30 am

I'm creating some web videos and would like to have a custom made animated opening sequence created which would lead off all of the videos. I'm not looking for anything really intricate, in fact I'm looking for something that will look pretty rudimentary (a jeep "driving" across a map or along a cartoon road) and old fashioned/classic. The problem is that I have no idea where to search for an artist that can create a product like that. Any advice?

If you call the art depts. at CMU or Pitt they could probably put you in touch with animation students who could do it for a reasonable price.
