#podiumwatch tweets are something else right now. I miss all the hockey jokes. Can't wait to hear Crosby sucks again.

Strangest night in hockey since twitter stalked Jagr's plane.

The one about the cup of water and the Canucks and Sabres is my favorite.

They are onto milkshakes now, we will know things are getting serious once they bring in a keg and some liquor.
They probably already have a deal done and are just messing with us now wanting to wait until Friday to announce it. They are all in the room sitting on twitter laughing at all of us.

Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
Hearing NHL and NHLPA have scaled back numbers involved in tonight's sessions. Down to 3 owners and far fewer players than earlier in day.

My milkshake brings all the owners to the floor and they're like "we want a little more"
but we're like "we're the ones that score", let's make a deal and end this war.

They are done for the night, forreal this time. Went up until just before 1am. They were originally supposed to end talks at around 9:45pm so it's good to see them staying longer and talking more.
Winnipeg's Ron Hainsey: "we had a series of very candid discussions tonight and we plan on meeting again tomorrow."

Nothing but positive if you ask me. Im not expecting an announcement tmw or friday like some, but I'm expecting more steps up each day like this until we get at minimum a 48 game season

I find it hilarious that #podiumwatch was trending mostly just in Pittsburgh. I saw it was trending nationally and just thought to myself "this sounds exactly like something the Pittsburgh twitterverse would make up."

And yet anytime hockey needs to be talked about on the radio, he's the guy that they invite to talk about it. Could never figure that one out.

From everything i have read and seen, a deal is going to get done. They are very close now. Might not happen as soon as tomorrow but i would fully expect us to have a season now. Really happy things are progressing.

I think this breaks down one more time before they finally agree to a deal. My guess is the NHL will give a deadline for canceling the seaon unless a deal is completed, and that will move both sides to finally agree.

If this breaks down one more time they can officially cancel the season.
