Oh what a load of bushleague officiating, they complete ignore a kicked ball and let play go and that Latvian behomoth of duquesne literally falls on a pitt player under the basket going up for a shot...what on earth is their stance on what happened there, that the duquesne player had position?

the overgrown white doofus left his feet, which is why he fell on woodall (was it woodall). generally speaking, when a guy like that leaves his feet its almost an automatic foul.

kenny the kangaroo and company was also sitting relatively close to the press and also observed the sizable size of mark madden. he was sitting near colin dunlap. kenny the kangaroo wonders if they spent any time bashing yinzers, as yinzer bashing is a favorite on air ritual for both of them.

that game was boring, but at the end of the day pitt is better off having a rivalry with duquesne than with no one at all

he spent the second half with little buddy Tim Benz, the PG contingent was definitely the power at that table with Sir Ron Cook, Zeise and Fittapoldo.

In case anyone didn't watch and only looked at todays boxscore, Adams did have a ton of rebounds, but atleast half of those rebounds were on two instances when he was under the basket bricking his putbacks and collecting the boards.

I'd say yes, him and Fittapoldo were conversing most of the game with Ron Cook in between...and he looked so mad. Looked like Benz came prepared cause he had earphones in the entire time.

that statement is not disjointed enough to be a paul zeise rant

it has to be more like LISTEN, THIS TEAM-IF THE FANS WOULD JUST GIVE THEM THE CHANCE TO PLAY-THIS TEAM MIGHT JUST HAVE THE TALENT-LISTEN, STEVE ADAMS IS THE KIND OF GUY TO TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL. THE FANS JUST NEED TO GIVE HIM A CHANCE.

he is especially prone to ranting about the pirates

zeise is good though.

MM appears to have gained weight, at his age he honestly should be concerned (not even saying this in a mean spirited way, but you don't see too many old guys look like him)

I know they're playing all junk teams, but Pitt's starting to look impressive. I'd expect back to normal Pitt hoops after last year

Honestly, with all the times Madden has talked about his weight on the air and saying he's going to die soon I don't think he cares that much.

Anyways I have a question to ask. Wednesday Pitt is playing Delaware State and its my first ever Pitt game i'm attending (very excited even though were not playing anybody special) and I want to know where's a good place to park? I ask because looking at the parking map on Pitt's website it seems that a good bit of the parking around the Pete is for people who have permits so if someone could help me out that would be great.

Thank you.

I usually park at the O'Hare garage when I don't have a pass. About halfway up the hill to the Pete, maybe a 5 minute walk.

And pitt is still unranked. Been 26/27th for the past 4 or 5 polls haha.

If only they beat Michigan in that tourney. They might be in the top ten by now.

Was Michigan the only ranked team they've played? Can't keep playing schools no one has ever heard of.

Yep. Don't blame them with a Big East schedule. But this is the downfall. If they're good enough, they'll get recognized quickly enough. #10 Cinci on new years eve.

Yea the Big East schedule is tougher than any other conference when you have 8-10 teams that are capable of making the tournament.

Also sometimes when tickets are available for certain games, Pitt will sell them on their website. For example if you wanted to go to the Cincinnati game next week, you can buy them for face value on their website.

Also just bought a ticket for the Pitt-Seton Hall game in Feburary. Very excited. I went to my first Pitt BB game recently againist Delaware State. Had fun, liked the arena and the game was great too. I always followed Pitt BB casually but i'm starting to becoming a diehard.

Watch out becoming a diehard fan as Pitt likes to be a cruel mistress

Malcolm Gilbert transferring...would have been a good player for 3 years after this season (he was redshirting).

Thanks for the responses about where to buy tickets. Seems like Stubhub is the best (only) option for Monday's game. How are the views in Petersen Events Center? Are the upper corner seats (where the reasonably priced tickets seem to be) worth the purchase?

Tell me about it, espically in Pitt football.

But I don't get too disappointed with Pitt BB because since Pitt will never have the type of program that will always contend for the national title like Duke or persuade blue chip prospects to come here so as long as Pitt puts out a respectable team that can be competitive and make the NCAA tourney (which they have under Coach Dixon all but one season) then i'll be happy.

The game I went to againist Delaware State Matt Cooke and his family were there and they showed him on the jumbotron. Some guy sitting in the area I was sitting in screamed GET BACK TO THE BARGAINING TABLE COOKE, YOU LAZY BUM!. I bust out laughing.

Also i'm going to the Pitt game againist Cincinnati and got a good seat in 119. Looking forward to it.
