So earlier I flipped to the NFL Network to avoid commercials on another station. They were discussing the AFC wild card picture, and in particular whether the Steelers or Bengals had the inside track. Despite mentioning the Steelers' great record at home and the fact that they have 3 of 4 games there, Donovan McNabb and whoever the other guy was declared that the Bengals had the inside track. In fairness, one other guy there was talking about how the Steelers were turning it on and had a chance to make a run... but I guess I don't get the belief in the Bengals.

I'll be a little less delicate...you have to be an idiot to think the bengals have a better shot at the playoffs.

No matter how many years go by and how the players change, the Bengals, are always going to be the Bengals. They have more talent than the have recently, but they're the bengals so no. I cant believe people worry about them. Even if they make the playoffs, they are 1 and done. Like always.

Apparently Andy Dalton is one of only 3 QBs EVER to throw 20+ TDs in their first two seasons (according to NFLN). He is now in the same category as Peyton Manning and Dan Marino.

Very few receivers make their QBs. The only 2 I can think of are AJ Green and Randy Moss. That's Dalton.

And combined, those "heroes" have a collective 1 Super Bowl.

Historically, I don't think rookie QBs have started that many games. Plus, the league has skewed more towards passing offenses.

That stat tells me he's better than gabbert, ponder, the guy from Tennessee last year and any of the other terrible, young QBs in the league. Congratulations on being perfectly average, Andy.
