Just read a few comments on TDKR and I am kinda shocked that this was even a debate:

There were actually people who thought Bruce Wayne was not alive? I mean seriously?

I kind of wish it would have ended with Alfred passing a guy who kind of looked like he was maybe Bruce Wayne, but they never showed a good look at him. Alfred turns to look at him again, and the camera stays on his face as he smiles and nods, leaving it sort of open.

Agreed. Except, I don't even need to see a maybe Bruce Wayne. All I needed was that shot of Alfred sitting down, spotting something off camera and smiling.

Complete agreement. Though all the anguish Bruce put Alfred through made me very sad inside. The scene at the grave really bummed me out.

I could have gone for that ending... kind of Sopranos-like in that you don't actually know what happened and it leaves the door open for debate. Since it wasn't the ending, I can't really get where anyone possibly came to the conclusion that he was dead.

Also, like so much else these days, the commercials on IFC are killing the product. I've all but given up trying to watch AMC because of this.

when i first saw it, i thought that when fox found out the autopilot had been fixed that bruce could have survived but wanted to die anyway. when i saw it a second time, i noticed the fixed bat signal, which changed my mind.

i just went through streaming netflix, and there is SO much there for bad movie connoisseurs such as myself.

-Troll 2 (obviously. if you havent seen it, do it now!)
-Rumplestiltskin (low budget 90's creature feature. very enjoyable and quotable)
-Pinnochio's Revenge (see comment for Rumplestiltskin)
-TerrorVision (a family of swingers, punks, and military survivalists accidentally downloads an alien into their TV or something)
-The Apple (adam and eve parable made as a goofy musical in 1980's disco drug fueled NYC)
-Killer Klowns from Outer Space (way scarier than it should be. really fun movie, though)
-Rockula (Dean Cameron plays a Rock and Roll playing vampire.)
-Miracle Beach (Dean Cameron plays a dude who finds a hot genie. Dean Cameron is awesome)
-Riki-Oh:The Story of Ricky (maybe the most over the top cartoonishly gory movie ever made)
-Starcrash (1979 blatant star wars ripoff starring a young David Hasselhof)
-Disco Godfather (Rudy Ray Moore wants you to PUT YO' WEIGHT ON IT in the battle against angel DUSSSSSS)
-Birdemic: Shock and Terror (this one is so bad, watching it is like an endurance test)
there are also a remarkable number of movies about strippers fighting monsters. what a strange subgenre...

Yeah, it was good. Disney/Pixar has a couple of similar Elf-North Pole centric TV cartoons around called Prep and Landing. They should be on ABC soon.

Watched Bourne Legacy. Not as bad as I expected, not nearly as good as any of the Matt Damon Bourne films, however. I'd like to see another Aaron Cross Bourne film, especially if Rachel Weisz makes a reappearance.

Not yet. Waiting for it to come in from Netflix -- I may eventually just rent it though from Amazon Prime if it ends up taking forever.

1/1/13 is release on netflix. I noticed if you sign up for a free trial of vudu (at least on my roku) they give you $6, I was thinking about doing that and getting it or prime. Looks really good and I don't feel like waiting another 3 weeks.

Oh -- didn't notice that. I think there's enough on my plate with upcoming movies and ones earlier in the year I haven't seen yet to hold out, but if I don't get it early upon release and end up getting stuck in a long queue then I'm definitely just gonna Prime it. Agreed though, definitely one I'm looking forward to.
