I'm already on the fence with the NFL for the reason that Sam's Drunk Dog mentioned. The pace of the game is too on and off. I've caught myself more and more this season doing other things while the Steelers have been on, which is something I never did in the past.

Now I don't think I'll ever quit watching, but the loss of interest is definitely there right now and with some rule tweaking there might be even less interest.

He did. I forget the exact number, but it was a fairly big number (no pun intended)

Redzone has significantly made my NFL viewing pleasure a little better. But if I had my choice I would rather be doing something else.

I've never liked Pete Carroll. I've always thought he was a fraud. Just me, maybe.

My most hated players in the NFL list looks something like this:

1. Philip Rivers
2. Drew Brees
3. Aaron Rodgers
4. Terrel Suggs
5. Clay Mathews
6. Wes Welker
7. Mark Sanchez
8. Tim Tebow

:pop:

This list needs 110% more Jay Cutler.

I still can't believe the Cardinals started the season 4-0 and beat New England on the road.

He is hiding with the knowledge that David Wilson is replacing him very soon.

Is anyone still willing to tell me that Russell Wilson's game doesn't translate to the NFL?

My counter would be that Arizona is not an NFL-caliber team right now.

Who knows though. I mean, you could probably count the number of people who predicted Brady's career on one hand.

If the NFL had an AHL equivalent, the Cardinals would belong a league below that.

Yeah, it's ridiculously hypocritical. NBC can start playing salsa music over the air so Cruz can do his full-blown routine in the end zone, but that is considered excessive. Joke city

Tony Scheffler did a relatively innocent snow shoveling routine in the end zone, and got a 15 yard unsportsmanlike.

Lions got flagged for excessive celebration because two teammates did a shovel dance in the end zone. Dumb, but the rules are the rules and they don't allow for group celebrations.

rocco's got it. it was because more than one person was celebrating, nothing to do with how excessive it was
