welcome to my world.

I stayed up for that stupid Pacquiao fight, which didn't start until almost 12:30. Fell asleep around round 3, woke up at the post fight interview and couldn't go back to sleep until about 4. If you go back a week in this thread, you'll see that I was up and still posting here at either 4 or 5. At that point, time isn't important, but knowing that it will gonna ruin my sleep pattern for the next day is.

I've got a guy up here in NY who is looking for a black and gold hat that just says 'Pittsburgh' across the front. (Not Pens). Has anyone ever seen anything like that? I haven't seen quite what he's looking for online.

Only hats like that I have ever seen were sports related. As in Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, or Pirates. Never just Pittsburgh.

Try the airport where they have the city souvenir stands?

hey bhaw. coming out to Flagstaff for a night and Phoenix for a night after Xmas for work. Any good eats out there? Figured I'd ask, not sure where in AZ you are, but I might as well try something new instead of Chile's or whatever chain I'd end up at.

I don't know Flagstaff at all. What kind of food are you looking for? I can give you plenty of suggestions in Phoenix.

Ehh whatever really. I was hoping to catch the Kings/Yotes game that night, but that looks like it isn't happening. So I'll end up having a bunch of time by myself. Maybe a sports bar, or some mexican. Thanks sir.

Oregano's (Italian and pizza)
Grimaldi's (pizza)
Pizza Bianca (pizza)

The Herb Box (contemporary/natural)
Four Peaks Brewery (obvious)
Postino's

For Mexican, you mostly have the Americanized mexican places like a Chili's or On the Border or you go for a hole in the wall place. Filiberto's is a burrito shack type place all over the city. People seem to love them, just make sure your stomach is used to that kind of food or you might be fire bombing your flight.

I'm not sure what sports bars are down town other than the chains or Majerle's.

Awesome thanks! Figured I'd try something more local instead of a chain. I will take a look at these.

I got slightly sunburned today.
So I'm watching downhill skiing with the sound off, like it's some four-season fetish video.

I'll second the Pizza Bianca recommendation in Phoenix. Really solid.

It's been on TV. Went there for lunch during the week when it's not busy, and I thought it was good but it wasn't like "holy crap! This is the best pizza ever." But still good.

Only issue with going there is potential wait time. Due to notoriety and minimal seating, you can end up waiting there for hours. Luckily they let you bring wine with you, so you can drink while you wait.

My friends in Tempe took me there once and it was a multiple hour wait. I tried again a few months later and got right in, so yeah.

While I love the PA lottery holiday commercials, I miss the old guy on them (he's probably dead)
