I fly through CLT so often I think I could probably get my mail there. Hopefully one of these days I get bumped off the last flight and can talk them into putting me up at a local hotel with an afternoon flight out the next day. I haven't kicked around Charlotte about 20 years.

I was never real fond of that city though, the Pulled Pork is it's only redeming quality. Their version of BBQ Ribs is extremely lacking IMHO. I'll take Memphis style anyday.

I've often said that I think there's an amazing business opportunity in Key West.

For those that haven't been there, KW is a city of bars. The island is 4mi long and 2mi wide. 3,370 acres total. I swear that there must be about 200 bars.

They don't have a micro-brew pub, or a BBQ themed resturaunt, or a place that has a blues related music theme (well, maybe the Green Parrot). I think if you opened a place that mixed those ingredients together it would be an overwhelming success.

I keep thinking I could make that work and be happy doing it.

i saw a bbq place that looked pretty decent at CLT, not sure if that was it columbia. I was close to getting something, then thought of my stomach on a 4 hour ride to Vegas after eating pulled pork, so I passed

The BK Rib Sandwich is the borntrade of rib sandwiches. Sure it might look legit from far away, but once you get up close you can tell how wrong it is and every imperfection about it.
