Netflix Orders Two to Five More Episodes of ‘Arrested Development’

The streaming service has agreed to bump up the original order by two to five more episodes, bringing the Season 4 total up to 12 or 15. Production is currently paused while Hurwitz adjusts for the expanded season, which is still on track to debut this spring. More details after the jump.

The IT Crowd is hit or miss for me. Some episodes are incredible and sometimes i find myself sitting there staring at the tv with no expression on my face.

He's like Britney Spears at this point. Not much talent, very annoying, yet keeps getting shoved in my face seemingly daily. What has he done over the years, honestly. All he has to offer is that goofy smile.

I'll get around to it, i've pretty much given up on this season. It's moved to that awkward humor that I don't really enjoy watching. I think they've moved too far in the direction of relying on new characters and just putting the main players in situations where they're just embarrasing themselves. It's just harder for me to watch and I find myself just skipping through those incredibly awkward moments.

It was ahead of it's time, plus it was on the wrong station. I don't think a network was at all capable of carrying a show like that at the time. It could have survived on comedy central or something like that.

One of my favorite Arrested Development quotes is from season three when there were rumours about the show being picked up by HBO or Showtime.

Spoiler:
George: Well, I don't think the Home Builder's Organization is gonna be supporting us.
Michael: Yeah, the HBO is not gonna want us. What are we gonna do now?
Oscar: Well, I think it's Showtime.

I agree. I think if it started now, it could survive on network. It was basically a pre-curser to Modern Family.

These were the first two I ever saw of the series.

Why wasn't I watching earlier? Love it so far.

Dunno? I ignored the first season because it looked sucky. Got into it the second year, but still missed some episodes. Had to make it all up later. Some episodes are better than others, but overall it's quiet good. It's a character-driven show so you have to get to know how weird they all are in their own way. I like the one girl that's married to one of the guys. She's hot and she's cool.

That episode was awesome. I thought the diner episode was ok.

I've liked this season so far. Although Dennis as a character is starting to get somewhat annoying to me. He is definitely my least favorite out of the gang. D is hit or miss. I thought she was great in the video game episode but sucked in the night out one.

Charlie and Frank are the two best though.

It's a great show. Some episodes get way out there, but overall, it's been a good show. I've noticed when they actually focus on fantasy football for the episode, those are some of the weaker ones. When there is very little fantasy football, it usually is a great episode.
