People would be suprised by how much I love the 50's/60's sound. Girl groups like the Marvelettes. If I had to pick one group to listen to for the rest of my life, I would be very happy with the Marvelettes, especially considering their large output that seemingly doesn't have a bad song anywhere. Doo-Wop. I love all that stuff. I can go a week straight listening to nothing but oldies. Metal will forever be my #1, but sometimes you just need to take a break and what oldies provide is beauty and a great emotional attachment that is too often missing from music today.

We played Martha Reeves and the Vandellas at our wedding. I get taking a break. I love old-school and new alternative but we listen to baroque and other classical in the evenings. The hub breaks up his alternative, classic rock, and the Dead with bluegrass. While I can't listen to bluegrass for long, I appreciate the musicianship.
I wonder if Frank Zappa got "Great googly moogly!" from this:
