What if the nerds not only figure out that we are, in fact, living in a computer simulation, but they manage to hack the system and make changes? What if we wake up one day and women all look like supermodels and nerdy scientists are suddenly being voted the sexiest men on Earth?

Yeah the series finale of St. Elsewhere was kind of like that. Their universe wasn't real. Turned out it was just some figment of some kid's imagination.
