THE RASCALS have returned to the stage to perform their first public show in more than 40 years as part of a series of gigs organised by STEVEN VAN ZANDT.
The E Street Band rocker has reunited the group's original line-up of Felix Cavaliere, Gene Cornish, Eddie Brigati and Dino Danelli for The Once Upon A Dream shows at the Capital Theatre in Port Chester, New York.
The Rascals performed the first of the theatrical concerts last Thursday (13Dec12) marking their first gig together in more than four decades.
The concert featured film clips and live narration as part of a career retrospective. Van Zandt previously launched a donation drive to encourage fans to help fund the project.
The shows started from 13-15 December and return for a second run from 20-22 December.
The Rascals formed in the mid-1960s and enjoyed a number of hits before disbanding in 1972.
