Same. I think I might be the only fan in history that when flipping through games on Center Ice will actually change the channel during a fight. Not because I don't like it or I'm scared or that it doesn't belong in the game...I'm just not that entertained by fighting...I'd rather watch the game...

i'm not a huge fight guy, but this might be the origin of my tyler kennedy appreciation.



upshall turded out all over the place in game 1 of that series - taking dives and whatnot. the pens were collectively pretty ticked at the end of the game, so this "staged" fight happened early in game 2. when kennedy fights, he means it. and i love when there's sort of a righteous cause behind scraps.

In the playoffs, I personally feel there is no such thing as a staged fight. There is meaning behind it, and those are really the only fun scraps because there is emotional interest. Just watching fights is meh, but when there is emotion being poured out into it is exciting.
