About 2 inches of snow in Shadyside already.

Glad I got up early and went grocery shopping. I can stay in and watch the snow fall.

According to PennDoT's twitter, Turnpike from Donegal to Somerset closed until further notice.

Tunnel traffic inbound to squirrel hill is at a standstill. Friend of mine posted on twitter that he hasn't moved for 15 min. Currently sitting near WTAE sign.

I'm stuck at my sister's place in johnstown. From what I'm seeing with accidents, traffic moving at a crawl, and people complaining about the weather in general, it's probably not a good idea to go anywhere until somebody decides to call Mr Plow. Roads outside of her place look like nobody has touched them.

My neighbor whom is in his mid 50s, tried to impress my dog and I by flooring it on the road to kick up some snow while we were outside. I hope when im older I can be that cool. Btw icing like a mofo in greensburg right now.

Looking forward to a 2 hour drive when it should take 30 minutes tonight since our boss won't let us leave. All these phone calls(we've had one) are about to come in today.

I don't want to rub it in. But....im thrilled my boss told me to not come in. A normal 35 minute commute would probably be a 90 minute commute.

It further fuels my passion of hate for people. For all the talk that you really care about your employees(especially having to work Christmas Eve) it's all fluff when it comes to being greedy. Even then you've spent more money paying the hourly guys by having them come in and not letting them leave. I'm in management but still answer to the owner, so it's really just a payscale thing and it's balls.

lol no way, you didn't tick me off. It's just the general thought from higher ups, that they care about you as an employee. I work with 10 people and our businesses we deal with are close.
