I'm sure its the same as the last one. I'm not sure where people get the idea that the PA will counter with something outlandish, as that has yet to happen.

It seems as though you may foe people that disagree with what you say or whatever and I'm one of them...but just so this misinformation doesn't pollute others' heads...the PA's counterproposals have included such things as de-linkage (revenue from salaries), something we just lost a season over, so if that's not outlandish then I can see why you're so pro-union...

I'm pretty sure he has me on his list too. He hasn't said a thing to me in a year, maybe two. Very odd.

Right now it looks like it took fehr to get them there. Then again, the owners did get a half year reprieve from paying salaries. Time will tell if any damage done to the brand was worth that.

Come on. Fehr was the one who refused to meet with the NHL for a year and a half, only to contact them right before the deadline (which I believe was his method of trying to pressure them into making a quick deal). All this should have been done a year ago and it is all on Fehr why there wasn't enough time before the new season was to start. I do not feel the league should have began a season under same CBA guidelines as the previous season.

And, no, it wasn't worth it. It's a horrible thing they - let's say both sides - did to the reputation of the league and to the fanbase.

I didnt bother reading most of your post, but it absolutely can be both. The owners have never made a concession during these cba talks. They asked for a ton and have progressively asked for less. This isnt opinion, they will be making 0 concessions when all is said and done and the pa hasnt even asked them to. Players are doing nothing but mitigating loss. Fact.

For crying out loud. Everything the NHL has done has been a concession. I didn't even think they should have given players the $300. Even now, the 10% and the 6 years, are concessions. Everything the NHL gives in on, isn't a concession to a couple people here. Let's not forget who the empoyers are and who the damn employees are. Imagine if you guys started coming up with similar demands at your jobs. These players are ridiculous. In fact, I will say if the NHL gives in just a little bit more, there will be nothing else left. I take it as a sign the NHL is serious about wanting to play and it's the other side who keeps asking for more and more and more. Like they themselves ran the franchises they play for. That was one of quotes that Fehr had back in August, actually, that if this was a real 'partnership', players would be in on all team operations. I swear I would have closed down the whole league for a year if I were running this show.

I don't know. We had some fun talks before, so I don't know what happened. It's just really strange to me for anyone to foe anybody on here. What's the damn point. It's really anti-social, if you ask me.

I wonder what the trajectories of some people's careers will be here? There's either trolling or a severe lack of business reasoning going on here.

Makes it easier for the rest of us out there I guess.

Maybe it's because I haven't been posting long enough for anyone here to really bother me to the point where I had to foe him or her but I don't think I can dislike someone enough where I would want to block out everything they say. I mean the pro-player groups of MRandall, Gaucho and Idoit get on my nerves but I never gotten angry enough where I want to tune them out completely, on a message board of all places. I think that's juvenile.

Just my opinion though.

Given the fact I don't think Obama is the Anti-Christ like alot of people in that thread believe I don't think my opinions would be welcomed.

But I will keep that in mind.,

I don't imagine Idoit or MRandall being too happy to be included in that group. So I guess TT meant pro-players.
