So that brings me to this thread. I'm sure it's covered somewhere in this thread, I only checked the last 10 pages - any comments on Insanity or similar programs?
Recently I played 1 dek and 2 Ice hockey games in the same night, and felt fine - but I have difficulty trying to run more than a mile or two - so I obviously need to cross train, and I would also like to lose about 10-15 pounds.
Also, I couldn't help but notice that this thread is at 38 pages - but the beer thread is at 117. :)

I'm adding a steady dose of BCAAs to my diet (should have been there anyway) and I'm replacing 2 snacks a day with a recovery meal. Loving this new eating plan and Tabata routine though. Kicking total butt and taking names.

yubb wrote:I need a few new back exercises. I never feel drained on my back days.
Typical Workout:
Dead Lift (stiff legged or not)
Low Rows
T-Bar Rows
One-armed Rows
Sometimes some curls
Lat pull downs
Barbell Pullovers
Y-Raises w/ Dumbbell
I usually only do seven exercises on a give day (not all eight listed above). On paper it looks pretty good, but I'm never as exhausted as a chest day. Maybe that's just the nature of the muscle I'm working out, but I feel like I'm not leaving it all on the ice, so to speak. Any suggestions?
