The Rooney Rule strikes me as one of the most condescending policies I've ever seen.

Jamaal Charles had a pretty impressive season with 1509 rushing yards considering he had games of 3, 4, 10, 39 and 40

Ray Lewis retiring. Good riddance. Congrats on the Hall of Fame career that should have been spent rotting jail.

Ray Lewis after that incident definitely reformed and did a lot of good for the youth of both Baltimore (and the Miami I believe). Baltimore for sure. He also was never hesitant to trying to help out at-risk players who might do something stupid by giving them his number if they ever needed to talk. He may not have always been a model citizen, but he got the reality check he needed and was able to change his ways. That is admirable considering he could have done what many many people do and just go back into old habits.

Good Career Ray, enjoy the hall of fame and retirement.

Also, if you are going to bring up his past, he was an accessory to murder by providing the vehicle to leave the scene. He did not kill the guy.

Well he pled guilty of obstruction. Its unknown what happenned, but the defense claimed that the procecution couldnt link him to the stabbing.

Yeah this is a stretch. And if Lewis was involved in the fight and someone else stabbed him, your run-of-the-mill defendant is going to get charged with murder there under the felony murder rule.

I get that it is unknown. But I am not going to say he killed anyone if there is no substantial proof that he did.

I quit saying "Lewis is a murderer" because I believe Ben wasn't guilty either, and it was basically the same thing.

I know ben was doing something wrong and that lewis was at least involved in wrongful death. Theyre both guilty of something.

Wait....you think roethlisberger is innocent? Both times he was accused, not to mention all the other times he was never accused?

1st time I think he was innocent of any wrong doings. The woman left a long trail of being shady and trying to nab money.

2nd time I think Ben was the extremely shady character. But I don't know.

So you buy a woman drinks all night, she is clearly to intoxicated to make a rational decision weather she wants to be with a man. At this point its immoral for the guy to try to have sex with her (my own belief), but its to much of a grey area to convict him of a crime. (again my own belief)

I know most men would not sleep with a woman who was clearly over-intoxicated. But alcohol has been used by men to get laid since it was invented.
