Tmw is setting up nicely for the typical, "well the unstoppable SEC team was shooting for the National Title game cause thats what SEC teams do and they had no interest in playing Big East low lifes so they didnt try. They are still awesome you guys, as are all SEC teams" excuse.

Seriously though, the ACC and soon to be ACC teams have had a heck of a bowl season so far. They really are going to be the new Big East.

ACC is going to by far be the best conference in the NCAA for years to come.

I think we're seeing that the "by far" is much smaller than some posit. I think the SEC is slightly better than its competition but benefits from having the 1 and 3 team to start each season.

Florida was grossly overrated. A team that almost lost to Louisiana-Lafayette and that was tested by Bowling Green is not the #3 team in the country.
Same thing with LSU. They almost lost to Auburn and Ole Miss.

USC fans are close. I think it's hilarious ESPN and the media crowned a 7-6 team as the preseason #1.

Boy, who would have thought that the "One game Wonder" would look so good in his first bowl game

It's all a carefully crafted narrative by the NCAA to generate a feel good story, winning the hearts of America and thus conquering the PR war in their case against Penn State.

Oklahoma got screwed out of the National Title game a few years ago too and got smacked by 4 touchdowns by West Virginia. They get the SEC treatment when they play in a bowl thats below the good name of the Sooners and people (ESPN) just say they had no motivation to play.

Is that the same NIU who lost by three touchdowns in the Orange Bowl?
