I come from a rather (OK, very) provincial town with rumored historical mob ties and where HS football is the be-all and end-all. I can't begin to describe the feelings I have about this situation. I will smile as I watch these people burn.

I'm not going to link it because its so appauling, but they just uploaded a video on youtube of one of the kids being filmed at the party, laughing hysterically over the whole thing. (Supp the girls ex bf) They were making jokes and saying she was dead. It certainly came across like they actually thought she was dead, yet still laughing about it. Its about 12 minutes of taping and you could hear in the background people saying "So and so did this to her - 'so and so' did that" And it was names of people that Anon called out in their first video. They also threw the rape word around alot, all while making jokes and laughing. This may be the video that brings it all down

Watching it now. Pretty appalling.. especially the jokes they are making about being dead.

Jefferson County Sheriff Fred Abdala was on WWVA this morning and gave one of the most embarrassing interviews on radio. Guy is in full on defense mode. He resorted to playing the "Why don't they (Anonymous) take their mask off and say it to my face!" card. He also said "who are they to come into our town and slander the character of the people and the officials as corrupt?" Last I remember there were hundreds of local citizens on the courthouse steps last weekend for that very reason. He also claimed people were just jealous of Steubenville Big Red football In a tv interview last week, he stated he did not get involved in this case because he had no jurisdiction to do so...today he said he does, but its unethical for him to intervene. The PD keeps saying over and over "If anyone has information on this investigation please come forward" Anonymous has been doing that for 2 weeks and the clear cut evidence is either getting ignored, or seen as not credible. Word is getting around that officials possibly already had seen that video above, and done nothing.

It really is incredible. Apparently there are 2 news stations in the "Valley (?)" and one of them flat out refuses to cover the case.

WTOV9 is in Steuvenville, and while I wouldn't say they flat out refuse, I think that is being a bit overblown, but they certainly arent giving it the attention it warrents. Maybe a quick comment on the top of the newscast about it if there are any new details. Man reason for that is believed to be the stations General Manager, Tim McCoy, is a Big Red booster.

Also in that video the kid says "She was raped worse than that chick at Palooza." There was an April rape that was reported as well. It allegedly happend at a party called "Peirropalooza." Joe Pierro is an assistant coach. The party was at his residence.

haha. I dont have the resources right now to post quotes, but people need to follow everything Sheriff Fred Abdala is saying. The guy is rattled beyond belief. He keeps going on the offensive against Anonymous while hundreds of people at a rally and thousands around the world are tearing into him because they keep ignoring the rape investigation. Unreal. He had a quote I think today something to the effect of (towards anon) "You come into our town and mess with teenagers, we will come get you!!" Um...NOW you care about teenagers? The PD and DA are blasting Anon for posting pictures and twitter posts evidence and such of these kids, and like Anonymous said the other day "Sherriff, those kids made that stuff public WAY before we did" CNN was at Coach Reno's house yesterday, all he did was crack the door open and say "No comment!" Repeatedly

Want to be clear I have no idea but I have a hard time accepting that everyone involved besides the coach (including the sheriff and media) would be this backwards just to protect a couple of football players unless they feared something. It's just way way too absurd at this point.
