Well, technically she was still in there. The doctor had opened the c - section incision. And I guess this little girl couldn't wait to get out!

I never knew it, but when we had our most recent baby, when I was going into the delivery room (Csection), the nurse asked if I had a camera so she could take pictures. I said I didn't we could bring one. So I guess it's common now.

I have a friend who emailed us pictures of his baby right after birth before being cleaned up. Almost everyone replied back to him with an angry response.

Camera's yes, but our hospital says stills only (I've never taken a picture before the weigh in for what its worth, so there's no way I'd have a desire to video the delivery.

Having said that, my first born came out and as soon as I bent down to take her she grabbed a hold of my glasses and wouldn't let go. Didn't realize how rare a good grasp reflex was until well into raising the second one.
