His team was originally PFDIC's. If we could get to six on each side, I would put him in that division. But I think it's going to be 8-4, even with that creative classification.

Oh that makes sense, I was wondering why you were saying he was originally pfidc. I'm dumb.

Do the rookie game requirements change for the shortened season?

(plz no cause i don't want RNH, Tarasenko and Schultz all losing farm eligibility after this year)

Interesting. The lawyer in me says no. The plain text of the rule says 65 games or 10 GS. It also says HF's definition, which I assume is not changing. This might prove a windfall to teams with high-value rookies this year, but unless that windfall is going to prove overwhelmingly unfair, I say there is no alternate rule in the shortened season.

I think RNH is gonna get the 3 games needed to lose his rookie status.

In cases liek that, it hurts you less this season than it would be unfair to others next season.

Pittsburgh, Non-Pittsburgh would look like this unless I'm wrong about who lives where. I'm not sure it's worth it with only three people in the league outside Western PA.

1. Pitts: 3
4. LITT: 5*
t-5. Kraftster: 5.33*
6. troy/kovy27 8.66
t-6. Malk: 8.66
t-8. cheese/easton: 9.66

2. Hammer: 4*
3. Idoit: 4
t-5. bhaw 5.33
t-5. beerman 5.33 (3rd place finish)
7. Azkar: 9.33
8. Kicksave/pfidc: 9.66

In the leagues where I have to draft yet, I'm toying with this idea that goaltender value will be down this year (points league) because of the many back-to-back games, i.e., back ups will play a higher percentage of games than they otherwise would.

With that in mind, I'm considering offloading some goaltending from my team (probably MAF) because the draft is thin on goaltending this year and teams seem to be desperate to add it. My thinking being that MAF's value will be down in the immediate future (this year) and with goaltending being down across the board, I can attempt to swoop in and pick up a goaltender below fair value at some point this season when people are feeling like goalies aren't worth as much.

Any thoughts on this?

I know RNH will lose his, but none of the other guys have played a game yet in the NHL so they'd definitely all keep their eligibility after this season (and i'd like that very much). I think it would be a huge advantage for me to be able to split up the eligibility losing seasons.

Started another thread. ctrl+F "picks". It might have fallen to page 2, but not further.

I've added the rookie draft results to the end on the 2012 draft page in the google doc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... S0E#gid=37

Azkar, you need to pick again, that guys is taken. And Hammer, I took Ryan Murray in the draft to make two rookie picks.

Oh from that side, yeah they should definitely keep their eligibility. 65 games over, 1, 3, 5 seasons is all the same as far as i'm concerned.
