Also to answer your questions: I don't know. I know Yahoo private leagues have allowed as few as 4 before.

its fun to do just for **** and it always seems to come down to 4. we did that last year and just drafted randoms that never played but it turns out that team had a higher +- then one of the teams for half the season and was messing up the roto standings

I really did not think I would like it , but it was pretty fun. 4x c, lw, rw; 6 d; 2 g. H2h points. One if the forward lines all rookies. No lineup changes, 2 waiver moves for the year.
