Do you think the NFL will have a 4,000 yard passer + 1,000 rusher in the same year?

juice had this notion with vick in his prime and i shot it down pretty harshly. that being said, the league has opened up more offensively and guys like Cam Newton and RG III would be the most able to reach such a milestone.

your opinion?

I don't see Newton getting to 4000 and I don't see RGIII getting to 1000. I don't think a "good" QB is going to get 1000 yards, they're just too protected. RGIII is gonna get reigned in, they're going to want him to use his legs to scramble, not as a first option to create offense with his legs. Wilson got criticism in a playoff game for taking too many hits. A playoff game. Idiotic that he got criticism for that, but still, once you value your QB as elite(ish)(being capable of 4000 yards probably gets your team to value you that way), they're going to protect you which means you're not going for 1000.

http://deadspin.com/5974140/the-cowboys ... right-back

The last line in the article is pretty funny though.

Would be funnier if the Cowboys came back and just threatened to buy the NHL.

@Tony Romo: @DallasStars I would get the job done too if we only played 3 periods #HockeySux.

Yeah I think that first year was his best chance. I do think he'll end up putting together more constent years though. I hope he ends up being good.

I wish that were real. That would have been so funny. Mostly the only 3 periods part.

They definitely need something to complement Smith. Olsen isn't enough.

Your Mr. Bruce Arians is quietly building quite a reputation...

It wouldn't surpirse me if he became a media darling... albeit, without a personality to match.

Only Turner and Ryan ending up in New York with Rex could top the circus that was them this past season.

Please let it happen.

He was a head coach when being shown, thank you very much! :D

I don't know what it is about Arians - and I'm Colts through and through - but he just seems like someone I wouldn't want to talk to ever about anything...not sure why I get that vibe. But he just strikes me as a horse's ass. I'm thankful for him keeping the ship moving unexpectedly forward in Indianapolis AND I'm thankful T.Y. Hilton and Reggie Wayne are still alive after those insufferable slip screen plays where our not-very-physical WRs run directly into linebackers...
