Badhands and I are going. We went last year also. It was a lot of fun. Basically you just skate around and each alum is posted up. You stand in line and wait for an autograph, then you listen to stories they tell. Not hugely crowded, everyone was pretty laid back, open, and chill. Was a lot of fun just sitting and listening to EJ talk. Just hope the rain stops or they move it to the CEC since we all know how bad it is to skate in the rain.

Yeah, I am worried about the rain too. Skating at CEC would be cool!

I was thinking of doing something with a GoPro.. mounting it to a helmet or something maybe.

Almost bought tickets to go. With all the rain, I'm glad I didn't.

Agreed! Was lucky enough to do it when it was new. They had a Consol employee preview day and all employees were invited, Aramark gave us free food and we got to skate! Had video, but that's one of the things the female dog ex deleted out of spite.

I think that Sesame Street Live is at Consol this weekend.

Thank god the rain held off. Had a fun time. Frankie leroux trash talked my fiancee for like 5 minutes. Dudes huge, and no one even recognized him so we chatted for like 10 minutes.

Good time had! The lines for Recchi and Trots were crazy, but everyone else was cool and actually had a decent conversation with us. Got to talk to Granato for 10 minutes! I commented on how it's got to be difficult to make decisions in such a short time, his comment was,"We know what we have, lines set, everyone knows the system, we're ready to drop the puck and can't wait for the Flyers so we can show its going to be a different story this year." This got me excited. Also put $20 for a mystery puck signed by an alum. My buddy got Trots and Recchi, and I got a Lemieux!!! That alone made my day. Bet part was going to Sesame Inn for dinner and the place was dead, only one other table. Halfway through dinner, Recchi and crew walks in! I'd like to say we bought them a few drinks and went over and talked hockey the rest of the evening with them, but I wasn't going to be that idiot. They did acknowledge as we were leaving with a nod since we were the only others in the place and we were all decked out in Pens gear. Was a cool, inexpensive evening that has got me even more excited that hockey is back! Let's Go Pens!

That's awesome. Did Recchi slip a bottle of chipotle sauce into his pocket as he was leaving?

Lol. We went to hard rock afterwards and EJ, Trots, Clackson and Granato were there. Then, as we were leaving we saw Randy Hiller on the streets and he and his wife thanked us for coming.

When trots came out on the ice, he was mobbed right away. We were right up front, but he kept skating away lol.
