Finally watched the CM Punk doc. Man, what a great documentary. Punk's story is one of those stories that makes you want to go succeed in whatever it is you do.

Del Rio's has to be the laziest face turn I've ever seen.

JBL did a heck of a job selling Del Rio's win at the end, he had me pumped up for it.

i have a new favorite indie wrestler, and of course he's from Chikara. (you guys check out chikara yet? it's super fun!)

you might remember this dude from this video

He's just a super talented dude. he butsts out innovative knee strikes and submission holds. i saw a match where he did sort of a bridged cobra clutch-cattle mutilation combo thing, and it was pretty sick. also, this is probably my favorite execution of any wrestling move ever...

he used to be a goofy face, but had a heel turn last year, and seems poised to do some pretty big stuff this year. he's definitely one of those guys that is talented enough to be super famous if he wasn't like 5'7" 170 lbs.

Up late watching it again and man. What a promo by Punk last Monday. This guy is just incredible. Talking about Bryan, Brodus, Tyson Kidd, Michaels, etc. Just fun.

nice!!

Apparently not everybody is a fan of this album http://www.mentalfloss.com/article/2068 ... ling-album

lol, and one more:

Lou Albano, Junk Yard Dog, Hillbilly Jim and their colleagues approach singing with the same degree of seriousness and skill as they do poking each other's eyes out. That is to say, they make a feeble show of it and never come close to the real thing. Don't be fooled: This is not funny bad music, it's just bad. There doesn't seem to be any attempt at cleverness. There's only, for instance, Albano croaking out his name for three minutes or Nikolai Volkoff singing Cara Mia even further off key than Jay and the Americans did. The only wrestler who might be able to sing his way into a third-grade chorus is Jimmy Hart, whose Eat Your Hart Out, Rick Springfield is, if not a bright spot, at least a moment when the earmuffs can come off without risking permanent apoplexy. The best possible explanation for this album is that one of its producers, Jim Steinman, is a longtime collaborator of Meat Loaf's and may be trying to curry favor with the grappling crowd in case Meat needs to turn to the mats to pick up some spending money. (Epic)

The only catch phrase I want to hear from the Rock is when he calls someone 10 pounds of monkey crap in a 5 pound bag.

The Rock's appearance on Smackdown was much better than RAW. Heck, the entire episode of Smackdown trounced RAW, yet again. The title match was great. Gutsy move by WWE to have Big Show drop the belt as he was finally established at the top of the food chain there. This could ultimately help advance the storyline though since Big Show isn't crippled by defeat like certain other wrestlers.

I love how all heels never want to wrestle and all faces have no problem with it. Del Rio was an absolute coward and now all the sudden he comes out and volunteers to put his title on the line against the Big Show tonight. And Big Show wants no part of it.

that one was more than the random moves for 3 minutes until someone gets a pinfall. there was actual pacing and psychology, and near falls... nothing groundbreaking, but actually not a terrible match
