SuperBowl Sunday again at Washington. I barely remember the last two SuperBowls because of that 1230 game

The weirdest part of the schedule for me is the 3:00pm game against Toronto on a Thursday

Is this the confirmed NHL schedule? I haven't seen any announcements yet.

If anybody's looking to sell off tickets let me know...promised my cousin I'd make the trip this season to get him to a game again.

Sorry, traditionalists. No Saturday night home games for Pens on revamped schedule.
This looks to be incorrect, home vs Carolina at 7 PM last game of the season.

Thanks.
I know times are still being tweaked, that's why I asked.

Philly isn't going to have trouble selling out. The schedule is based on availability of arenas. Saturday the Pens were scheduled away and one of their division rivals were scheduled at home.
At Philly (national TV), At Rangers twice, at Winnipeg, at Ottawa in the first 8 days of the new season. League has to make up ground on popularity. Has little to do with attendance at one game...

Very tough if true. If it's the Flyers and Rangers on the road before coming home, that's going to be difficult. With only 48 games, I think they would have to grab at least six points out of the first five games to be in the thick of things, even though it's still early at that point. The Toronto game is the most winnable, obviously, but I could certainly imagine a scenario where they go 1-4 in those first five, and things could snowball from there.
I read this post before reading the user, which is always an error. When I read that last sentence, I was thinking: "this is either Bathgate or The Current one".
You have to assume that they come out of any 5 game stretch that includes the Leafs and the Jets with at least 4 points. You just have to.
During the last week of the reuglar season last year you could very well have assumed that the Pens would come out of a home-home vs the Isles with a point. They didn't. If they do they would have won the division. Don't assume.

Yeh I find it interesting that we visit the Caps only once. I bet Ted, Mr. Hawk and friend of Bettman, made certain we visit once.
At least it is the weekend, maybe an LGP meetup since no Columbus?

final schedule for the google doc:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B1gJcjH ... RHSWs/editthe big changes from what i had and the official were the start time of the Toronto game that i thought was weird anyway and an ottawa game was moved from march 21 to april 22
...other than that, there were 2 or 3 time changes (7 to 7:30-type changes).
not too shabby.

if you're on your computer.. go to google calendar, and on the left side click the arrow next to 'other calendars' and click browse other interesting calendars, or something to that effect. Then you can click sports at the top and find the Pens and subscribe to it. Took me longer to type this than to do it, so you shouldn't have any trouble.

Washington must request this every year. It seems like we always have a game the day before, then have to play again in less than 24 hours while the Caps always seem to be off that Saturday.
