It happened with Stu Bickel as well.
Point being, Tangradi is not a heavyweight. He'd get wrecked by some of the guys on other teams.

Bickell is an enforcer haha...he's just like Engelland except slightly worse at hockey, slightly more inclined to fight...
And yeah you're right of course, Tangradi isn't a heavyweight, never will be, hopefully that isn't what he'll ever need to remain gainfully employed at the pro hockey level...

I was so hoping this thread was about the Big Mac powerplay, but alas my dreams have been shattered.

I would like to see Bortuzzo take Engelland's spot on D and convert Engo to 4th line RW.

Maybe a chance for Veilleux then? It seems he loves to fight more than to play anyway

Yeah, he's out of work with the Nailers anyway - called another player a racial epithet, and now suspended indefinitely.

@TSNBobMcKenzie
NYI claim Joe Finley off waivers from BUF. No other players claimed from yesterday's waivers.
Guess that means we dodged the bullet? Or ate it perhaps?

I actually suggested Engo to the 4th line last year. He could establish a crease presence, has a good wrist shot, and would intimidate anyone when he dressed out.

I am glad Smacker passed through waivers.
He is the baddest man in hockey with the mitts off
If a team like lets say Boston or the Islanders have shown they will break the mythical code and run at skilled players he is a nice option to be able to call up.
I understand an eye for an eye is meaningless if Crosby or Malkin are already injured
I understand Smacker is pretty much useless other than fighting
