Seems like we could use a thread for training camp observations / discussions.
Pens just posted their lines. 14-87-9 25-15-18 24-16-48 10-46-27 19-12-(37)
Who are #19 #12 and #37? One is Bennett, another Megna? and the third... Adam Payerl?
Looks like Jeffrey and Tangradi are Blysma's top candidates for Malkin's wing.

19 is Bennett, 12 is Megna, and 37 is Strait I believe. Probably playing forward for the day since Malkin is missing.

I don't know, Jean Pronovost and Byan Trottier were decent players.

http://penguins.nhl.com/club/news.htm?i ... b-penguinsThe Pens used the following line combinations:
Kunitz-Crosby-Dupuis
Tangradi-Jeffrey-Neal
Cooke-Sutter-Kennedy
Glass-Vitale-Adams
Bennett-Megna-(Strait)
Sounds like the plan is to just slide Jeffrey out to that 5th line and Malkin in to the 2nd line once he gets there.

Not sure where to put this. Just saw Vokoun's pads. These are the most disappointing i've seen from him in quite a while.

Looks like Tangradi is being given a shot. Skating with Malkin and Neal today. Hope this works out!

I was up at the consol~ lower bowl on the one side filled. ushers opening more for the crowd.
Evgeni obviously looks in game shape~ looks ready to dominate. Sidney was flying.
Can't tell sutter/glass yet. Flower's mask looks great.
I'm sure netwolf, bowser, others will have the official report.

Pittsburgh Penguins @penguins
#Pens James Neal: I'm trying to get familiar with (the point on PP). Letang is the point. I'm a bit of a rover
wasn't "rover" goligoski's role? how ironic!

This would be a great move if true. Why not put him with Letang? He has the skill and size to play top line minutes, and I think he would be the perfect compliment to Letang. He has played well at the NHL level when given the chance.
