Ghost In My Apartment Complex

In the 1800s, the Alder Ridge apartment complex was farmland owned by a wealthy Ross Township family.

At the entrance to the Alder Ridge apartments stands the abandoned farm-home of the family that owned the land. Standing there for over 100 years now, Paranormal State investigated the property in 2007 (before I moved there), and confirmed that the spirits of the owners of the land still haunt the white dilapidated building to date.

Recently, I made a nightly attempt to enter the house and see what was going on there. After trying the front and back doors I found that the complex had padlocked both of them. A buddy and I attempted to climb the front porch to the second floor, but didn't risk it because of the condition of the home. Defeated we retreated to my apartment, approximately 100 yards from the building.

The complex is now planning on leveling the house and turning it into extra parking. However I must say....

I feel vindicated.

Nah, different complex. It's not anywhere near my building, but it's within the complex property. The complex was sold by the original family that owned the farm-land. They left the farm-house up, now it's just an old rotten building. Literally, when you turn into the complex if you look to the right, there is this old, wooden house sitting back in a little bit of woodland. You look at it and think "Gee that looks like a haunted house." According to the guys at Paranormal State it actually is.

There was ectoplasm all over the outside of the building.

I took a sample and sent it to New York City to be analyzed. That night my alarm clock turned on at 3:33 exactly for no reason!

According to the Paranormal State investigation:

Ryan: We rigged the house with electronic sensors and FLIR camera. As night wore on the atmosphere of the home was very dark and eerie. We encountered many strange noises, but nothing that could not have been ruled as paranormal. However, a little after 2 in the morning we managed to capture several interesting EVP's on our recorders.

The ghost is apparently the owner of the property, an old wealthy farmer. The house is all rundown and literally looks like something from a scary movie perched on top of a hill adjacent to the entrance to the complex. It's pretty cool. There's also a guest house next to it.

I personally think they're doing it cause parking there sucks in the first place. They were all excited about being featured on TV a few years ago though, so who knows.
