my team is team 2. my logic behind my goalie picks (picked rinne over quick is i think quick is highly overrated) was that we get 2 roster adds and the last 2 years i have been successful securing a goalie on the waiver wire that have i have played down the stretch (quick last year :pop: ) so i will be able to add my other goalie in a month and i would take a flyer on schnieder and then go with whomever i claim

Might want to change that. I don't think he's gonna be concussed for half a season this year.

Buffalo's lines do not impress me right now (Vanek-Hodgson-Pominville; Foligno-Ennis-Stafford; Ott-Grigorenko-Leino). I have my 'Mano-a-Mano' league draft tonight as well, and I will not be drafting Miller (2 goalies).

As long as Van drops Luongo, I love the Schneider pick. Rinne and Rask give you good statistics and Schneider should help bring wins.

Blah. Are you sure I can't pick a goalie with 10 starts?

Buffalo's team never impresses anyone. They're always right there though.

I usually have 3 people in mind that i want outside of the first few high end picks. I got 3 of them. Kreider was off the board.

Had my Mano-a-Mano draft tonight. We threw in a wrinkle. One forward line and one d had to be drafted from random teams assigned to each time. We did it before the draft (used NHL team selection randomizer). So it was 2 Pro LW/C/RW, 1 rookie LW/C/RW, 1 random lw/c/rw, 4 pro d, 1 rookie d, 1 random d, 2 pro goalies. The random team picks had to be made at the end.

My random teams were: Tampa, Toronto, Minnesota, NYR
His were: Pittsburgh, Philly, Edmonton, Florida

I was planning on going Parise - Richards - St. Louis - Phaneuf but he took Phaneuf in the draft to block me. Went with Kessel + Carle instead.

Ovechkin/Crosby/Giroux
E. Kane/Sedin/Neal
Foligno/Huberdeau/Tarasenko
Parise/Richards/Kessel
Letang/Chara
Weber/Pietrangelo
Carle/Schultz
Quick
Lundqvist

vs.

Datsyuk/Stamkos/Malkin
Sedin/Tavares/Callahan
Krieder/Granlund/Yakupov
Hartnell/Weiss/Eberle
Karlsson/Phaneuf
Edler/Suter
Niskanen/Hamilton
Ward/Rinne

I'm surprised that callahan and kane both made the top lines in that league.

And he got screwed with florida as one of his random teams. I would have aimed for something like neal - giroux - eberle - campbell. Or did you draft the top lines before you had the opportunity to draft the random team lines?

Hammer, when are you inputting this? Hopefully today, tonight? I'm going to DC tomorrow night and don't want to be like..."can I use your computer to set my fantasy hockey roster?"

Right, we had to pick from the randoms at the end. So I was sure to pick Neal (knew Giroux would go to one or the other of us) so that he would be screwed in Pittsburgh. He arguably did the same thing taking Phaneuf, though. If I were him, I would have probably gone Kunitz - Nugent-Hopkins - Voracek - Campbell.

Kane was sort of a mistake because I was thinking I needed a LW instead of either LW or RW (Neal has eligibility at either). The only person that really cost me was Perry. Kane was relatively close to the other wingers last year due to his hits, and I think he can add on to his 57 points from last year. Callahan, I don't think I would have taken. He was right around Kane last year, but I think that is the type of season you are going to get again from Callahan.
