I don't get NBCSN as of now...

Will the games on there also be on Root locally? I thought they were in years past.

Pretty sure if NBC picks up the game, Root takes the night off. I don't ever remember having the game on 2 channels.

Usually, NBC Sports has exclusive rights. I seem to remember a couple that were on both, but those may have been early round playoff games.

Those were games Root already had, but NBC opted to pick up...so it was NBC nationally and Root locally.

Yeah my cable package doesn't have nbc sports. pretty spectacular. I'm going to be going into DC to a Pittsburgh bar for those games I guess.

4 games will be exclusive to NBC.
3 games will be exclusive to NBCSN.
ROOT Sports will carry the other 41 games. Any other game picked up by NBCSN will also be shown on ROOT sports locally.
