I would not necessarily volunteer the information and ask if it is OK, though. If the fire code technically says max 4, and you technically have 5 (despite them being children)...if you ask about it they would technically have to say no or may get in trouble. If they just say max 4 regardless of fire code because they want you to get another room...then it probably doesn't matter.

I did not, put in for 4. Worst case scenario, I make one of the kids sit on the others shoulder and give them a long coat. They upgraded me from double beds to a king suite for free, at this point, I'll just keep quiet until the June checkin.

booked a hotel in June for vacation. Does anyone know how big of a deal it is going over occupancy? it says max 4, I got 5 (me, wife, kids (1,3,5). We got a king suite with a pack and play and pull out bed, which I figured would be more room. They kid is 1 year old, I can't see that being a problem?

Your problem lies in sharing a room with 3 kids (1,3,5). NOT in the occupancy rate.

cold packs have worked for me. A lot of people think warm compresses but my doctor told me that isnt true. Cold is better. and he's a doctor.
