I hope he does well. Too bad its the Habs and I can not effectively root for his success.

I could actually see Therrien and Bergevin winning a cup in the next 3 years. Then I look at their roster and judge my sanity.

I hope he does well with the Habs and think he will. That's a good situation for him and the kind of roster that I think he can coach-up. I won't be cheering for him when he goes up against the Pens :) but I have a lot of respect for MT.

Anyways I wish MT the best of luck. He'll succeed there, he won't turn that team around enough to win the Cup, but at the very least he'll set up the team where the next coach could do so.

I want to drop a $100 on Montreal at 30:1 SC odds honestly. I get that "95 Devils" feel from them for some reason...I guess I can do better with $100 right now, but I get a weird feeling about them for some reason...

You could do better with $100 but hey it's your money. There not as bad as people make them out to be (I think they need more skill upfront and drafting Galchenyuk will help with that and they need more discpline and bringing MT will help with that) but they don't have "95 Devils" written all over them.

Oh and I like David Desharnais. Got some skill and I got to see him aton of times in the minors as he played in the ECHL with Cincinnati (out of the 3 seasons I spent following the Johnstown Chiefs, he was the only player I saw that reached the NHL for more then a cup of coffee)

I'd look around. Pinnacle has MTL at 66:1 odds. They also have the Pens at #1 to win the SC at 8.66:1.

Perhaps Montreal as a pick to win it all does not look so crazy right now. 1994-95 Devils?

He didn't explode when the Habs totally sucked losing to the Loafs 6-0 a week ago, and they responded with 3 wins since. Too bad...I was hoping for a tirade :D

Habs don't have much talent on their roster but are playing well right now. Good work, MT.
