Apparently Robert Chew (Proposition Joe from the Wire) was found dead in his apartment yesterday.

Pretty sure I read it was heart failure, which isn't that surprising given his size. Loved Prop Joe and I didn't know that Robert Chew was a big deal in the Baltimore area with stage acting and training local actors, including most of the young actors used on The Wire.

Agree although it was somewhat predictable.

Beyond predictable but Abrams owed us that ending or at least an ending that made sense. I knew how it was going to end but I wasn't sure WHEN it was going to go back to...

I also watched Fringe to the end. I thought this was an interesting season and I liked the ending, except I hoped the... yikes, I think this would be defined as a spoiler

Spoiler:
I hoped that the boy's dad would have made it to the other side and Walter remained with olivia and his son (forgot his name). The whole thing with the 'new' plan for the dad going over to be with his son sounded like a nice surprise, but then they took it away. I thought that was unneeded drama. I don't like drama. I like nice endings.

Commenting on earlier comments on Apt 23. Yeah, what's up with the Sunday episodes. They don't go with the story. Completely throw me off and I can't follow. What are they, extra episodes they had or something?

So... we caught up on Person of Interest on Thursday just in time for the new episode... that wasn't new. Great buildup then stifled by a beginning of season repeat.

Criminal minds...
Spoiler:
I guess by the promo during CSI:NY last night that Reed's Mave is dead dead, as it says he deals with a personal loss. Still don't get why they put so much into that storyline only to kill it before it fully blossomed!

Yeah, that is seriously pissing me off with POI. This is at least second time so far this season where there was not a new episode.

usually for us it is not a real big deal as we found ourselves 3 and 4 eps behind. We managed to catch up over the last couple of weeks, only to be denied a new episode. Which is likely why it is more annoying to me.

Was looking up the schedule for the Walking Dead and found out that the season finale is the same night as the Game of Thrones premiere... :scared:

Actually, not too bad. I can watch GoT and DVR TWD and skip the commercials. :thumb:

In older TV... the entire Star Trek franchise (all of TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise) has come to Hulu+.

i guess it's cheaper to just air cops re-runs than having to pay for studios or on air talent or whatever.

It's still on, but it will be over at the end of this month. They are airing the final episodes of X-play and Attack of the Show this week I think (at least X-play for sure).

My wife and I watch Suburgatory, and thought it was decent until recently. Now, it's starting to get the feel of Community where it started off good, and then just got totally weird.

Yeah, I think I'm crossing that show off the list.

in the hulu department, 7 episodes in (of the 13 total) of "That 80s Show" from 2002. While it grows on you as it progresses, it appeared to try and capitalize on the success of That 70s Show, which was in its 5th season when this aired. Only problem is they couldn't get the dynamic that 70s Show had. That and the setting of 1984 and San Diego, and a smaller yet older base cast. Near as I can tell, the only alums of this show that went on to anything is one is on Grey's Anatomy and the other on Always Sunny.

I remember watching that when it came out. Yeah, it just didn't play as well as that 70s Show. I don't remember much about it, I just remember the girl from Grey's Anatomy/Not Another Teen Movie was in it.

Didn't realize that Dennis from Always Sunny was on that show. That's funny.
