It never was a rule. The whole point of the GDT from the beginning was for organizational purposes. People could actually criticize the play of the team if the team was struggling and it was okay. The idea that it was done for juju or that juju had anything to do with it is fiction. It's now been turned into a soccer mom convention.

i dont think theres any reason to NOT criticize the play of the team if theyre sucking, as long as people arent fighting with each other and turning the threads into a battlefield.
